報(bào)告人簡介： 白中治，中國科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院研究員，1999年獲得中國科學(xué)院青年科學(xué)家獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)、2000年獲得國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼、2005年獲得國家杰出青年科學(xué)基金、2006 年入選新世紀(jì)百千萬人才工程計(jì)劃（國家級(jí)人選）、2009年獲得馮康科學(xué)計(jì)算獎(jiǎng)。研究領(lǐng)域主要有線性與非線性數(shù)值代數(shù)、并行計(jì)算及其應(yīng)用等。發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文200余篇。主持過國家自然科學(xué)基金和國際合作交流基金，并參加過國家重點(diǎn)基礎(chǔ)研究規(guī)劃“973”項(xiàng)目。1996年以來，應(yīng)邀在國際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議上做邀請(qǐng)報(bào)告多次；并在美國、俄羅斯、英國、瑞士、日本、香港及荷蘭的多所著名大學(xué)或研究機(jī)構(gòu)做學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。現(xiàn)任《Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications》、《Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics》、《Numerical Algorithms》、《計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)》等國內(nèi)外著名雜志的編委。
報(bào)告摘要：We give a brief introduction about the personal biography and academic achievements of Gene Golub, and present a skeletal review about the HSS iteration method and a few related, together with their theoretical results.
