報告題目:  Inverse problems for time-fractional diffusion-wave equations

報告內容:  

In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to inverse problems for time-fractional diffusion wave equations and talk about an inverse problem for identifying a time-dependent potential coefficient in a time-fractional diffusion-wave equation by using the boundary measured data at a point in detail. We firstly prove the existence, uniqueness and regularity of the solution for the direct problem by using the contraction mapping principle. Then we try to give a conditional stability estimate for the inverse potential coefficient problem. The Levenberg-Marquardt regularization method is applied to obtain a regularized solution. Based on the piecewise linear finite elements approximation, we find an approximate minimizer at each iteration by solving a linear system of algebraic equation in which the Frechet derivative is obtained by solving the sensitive problem. Two numerical examples in one-dimensional case and two examples in two-dimensional case are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

報告人簡介:  魏婷，蘭州大學教授，博導。現為中國工業與應用數學學會的常務理事, 中國數學會理事。入選2006年度的教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計劃。

1987年本科畢業于復旦大學數學系， 1990年獲復旦大學數學所應用數學碩士學位，2005年獲香港城市大學理學博士學位。1990年至今在蘭州大學數學與統計學院工作， 2006年晉升為教授，2007年被批準為博士生導師。主要研究方向是數學物理方程反問題的計算方法及理論研究，在橢圓方程和拋物方程的反問題方面取得了一系列成果，目前主要從事分數階擴散方程反問題的理論與計算方法研究。已主持完成 3項國家自然科學基金面上項目,  目前正在主持1項面上項目“分數階擴散波方程反問題的理論及計算方法研究”, 在Inverse Probl, SIAM J Numer Anal, Adv Comput Math等學術刊物上發表學術論文100余篇，被SCI收錄論文90余篇，入選高被引論文3篇，他引1790余次。曾多次赴香港、日本、美國作訪問學者，并參加了在日本、澳大利亞、中國、斯洛伐克、韓國、芬蘭、美國、德國、巴西、新加坡、俄羅斯等國家及香港、臺灣地區舉行的國際會議, 做大會邀請報告10余次。擔任40余種國際高水平期刊的審稿人。已培養博士研究生16名，碩士研究生40余名。
