報告人簡介：
Associate Professor Weiwei Lin leads the bridge engineering group at Aalto University. With a distinguished career, he has served as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Bridge Engineering (ASCE) since 2017. Prior to joining Aalto University, he held the position of Associate Professor at Waseda University in Japan. Prof. Lin received the IABMAS Young Prize from the International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) in 2014 for his early research contributions, particularly in the maintenance and rehabilitation of aged bridges. He has published over 150 journal and conference papers, spanning topics such as structural health monitoring, damage identification, structural maintenance and repair, and structural robustness. Additionally, he authored the book "Bridge Engineering", published by Elsevier in 2017. Prof. Lin has been leading several projects funded by esteemed organizations such as the European Commission, the Academy of Finland, the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and the Japan Science Society (JSS).
